Houses of imagination
It is every artist’s dream to outfit an entire house, especially a shophouse, with artwork. As part of Figment’s cause to support the arts through its Case Study Home program, Rong had the privilege of creating artwork for a converted shophouse in Joo Chiat, which was then named after the artist.
House Rong has 12 rooms and 20 distinct and unique works, ranging from fifteen centimeter miniatures to a 3 meter installation. House Rong will be launching soon.
Rong is presently one of six creators in Figment’s Club House Creator Residency program.
